Reach the ferry boarding area. Our local coordinator helps you find the arranged private boat and assists with the boarding process as permitted by the operator and authorities.
Private Boat Crossing to Kachuberia
Cross the Muriganga River in your group's privately chartered boat. The journey itself often takes around 20β30 minutes in suitable conditions; waiting and boarding can take longer.
Journey from Kachuberia to Gangasagar
Continue by the arranged local vehicle towards the Kapil Muni Temple and beach area, approximately 30 km from Kachuberia.

Visit the sacred coastal pilgrimage site. Devotees may offer prayers or take a holy dip if sea conditions and local safety instructions allow. Bathing is optional.
Kapil Muni Temple Darshan & Puja

Return Drive to Kolkata
Travel back in the reserved AC vehicle. Drop-off at your agreed Kolkata or Howrah location. Actual arrival may be later due to traffic and ferry conditions.
Tour Route
The private ferry crosses the Muriganga River between Lot No. 8 and Kachuberia. It does not take you directly from Kolkata to Kapil Muni Temple.
